Practical information and tentative program

Welcome to all the delegates!

To our presenters: Please bear in mind that this NOT a scientific meeting of peers, but very much a a fora for exchange of knowledge between Industry and academia and that presentations should be take this into consideration.  It is important that most of the presentations are made available to be uploaded to the website post-conference.

For those who need overnight stay: The deadline to book reserved rooms is/was 12th April, so if you did not book a room by then, please check directly with the hotel or through booking sites for availability. Alternatives are airport hotels at Bergen airport from where venue hotel is easily accessible using public transport.

Parking: If you drive to the venue, capacity is 30 outdoors and 120 indoors, of which 6 has possibility for system for charging elctronic cars. The parking uses the automatic payment system – Sesamsesam. If you are not registrered or do not wish to use this system, you can pay for parking at the regisration desk. Alternatively, the hotel will send you an invoice. If you wish to charge your car, please contact registration desk for information about payment.

Please note that the registration is binding. If for some reason you cannot attend, please contact us at your earliest to give people on the waiting list a chance to attend, and to keep the cost of the meeting to the necessary.

Date: Wednesday 24th April – Thursday 25th April

Venue: Quality Hotel Edvard Grieg, Bergen.

Directions: Venue is accesible from Bergen airport with public transport (Bybanen). From airport it takes 7 min with Bybanen (5 stops), get off at the stop Sandslivegen, and a 1 km walk (approx 14 minutes) to the hotel.

Wednesday 24th April, Day 1:

  • Registration 0930 – 1030 hrs
  • Program 10.30 – 17.15 hrs

Thursday 25th April, Day 2:

  • Registration 0845 – 0900 hrs
  • Program 0900 – 1400 hrs
